Mind and Body Kids is currently looking for an experienced Assistant Teacher/Floater for our Early Education Program in Peoria, Arizona.
The successful candidate will be a positive, high-energy professional that is passionate about child development.
Our program is a learn-through-play based program that is supplemented by an indoor gym/sensory center; a science room; and an outdoor garden.
The Assistant Teacher (AT) is responsible for assisting the Lead teacher to plan activities for children, such as storytelling or art projects. The AT helps feed and change children, and generally provide one-on-one attention when needed. The AT must help organize and clean the classroom and assist with intellectual activities for children, per the Lead teacher's requests.
The Assistant Teacher is an ambassador of the school and is expected to actively interact with the parents making sure that they feel welcomed and a part of our organization
