Born in Hungary, Andrea Spangler started working with preschool aged children in 1990 while earning her Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education with a minor in child psychology.
After 7 years of experience working in European schools, she came to the United States. She initially worked with individual families until she accepted a position as a Lead Teacher in a special education preschool in New York. During her tenure, she set up individual education plans for challenged children leveraging her expertise and training.
In 2004, Andrea relocated to Arizona with her husband spending 5 years focused on raising her 2 children while providing home based services for her neighbors.
Since 2009, Andrea has been a Director of Arizona Licensed Facilities helping each one grow and flourish utilizing her expertise. Mind and Body Kids has been developed using Andrea’s 27 years of experience working with young children.
Yvonne Greenfield has been an Early Childhood Educator for over 26 years beginning her career at Marlboro Jewish Center in New Jersey.
After relocating to Las Vegas in 1995, Yvonne became the Preschool Director at Midbar Kodesh Temple. In 1999, Yvonne began her 18 year career at Adelson Educational Campus holding many positions including Lead Teacher, Coordinator, and Director.
Yvonne views each child as a unique person and believes in teaching the entire child focusing on confidence –building and elevating self-esteem. She is devoted to making a difference in each’s life and inspiring a lifelong love of learning.
Yvonne was named “Teacher of the Year”, by the Summerlin Children’s forum in 2000. In 2012, she was awarded the prestigious Grinspoon-Steinhardt Award for inspiring her students in Early Childhood Education.
She has completed her Child Development Accreditation (CDA), a nationally accredited certificate program for Early Childhood Educators. Additionally, Yvonne is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education.
