Andrea Spangler, Owner has been working in early childhood education for over 30 years. She has a bachelor's degree in early childhood education with a minor in Child Psychology. Our Director and Assistant Director also have over 30 years of experience each.
Our lead teachers are all educated in Early Childhood Education with years of experience working with preschool aged children. Our staffing currently includes a master's degree and 3 bachelor's degrees in early childhood education or a related field.
Our program involves a learn through play philosophy that allows the child to initiate activities of their interest and learn at their own pace. During the year the children are provided opportunities to experience the opera, hatching chicks, gardening, and many other special activities.
Our facility includes an indoor gym/sensory room as we are focused on developing the gross and fine motor skills as well as cognitive skills of your child. Research shows that physical activities are not only good for the body, but develop the mind as well.
During the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, we operate as a curriculum-based school. Unlike other early childhood education centers, we do not charge extra for the extended childcare hours (we are open from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm).
Parental involvement and communication is a key priority for our education center. Regular events are held where parents will see their child’s progress including three offsite family events during the school year.
As we hit our 3 year anniversary, we asked our parents to give us feedback on how we were doing. The results were encouraging with an overall satisfaction rating of 95.65% (70% Extremely Satisfied) . Over 97% of our children were expected to return for the next school year.
